Our Story
Okane Kitchen started with a simple idea: serve delicious, authentic-tasting Japanese donburi at prices that everyday Filipinos can enjoy. We noticed that Japanese food in Metro Manila was often expensive, and we wanted to change that.
Our signature gyudon — thinly sliced beef simmered in a savory-sweet soy-mirin sauce over a bed of steaming Japanese rice — became an instant hit. From there, we expanded our menu to include karaage, teriyaki chicken, tonkatsu, tempura, and salmon bowls.
